Black Ginger Powder

Black ginger (scientific name: Kaempferia parviflora) is a plant in the ginger family (Zingiberaceae) that originates from Thailand and other parts of Southeast Asia. Despite the name, it's not a true ginger root like culinary ginger (Zingiber officinale), but it's closely related.

Key Characteristics:

• Appearance: The outer rhizome looks similar to regular ginger, but when you cut it open, the inside is dark purple to almost black — hence the name "black ginger."

• Taste: It has a slightly bitter, earthy, and spicy flavour.

• Our Black Ginger is Organically grown in the hilly mountain regions of Eastern part of India.

Mix 1/2 teaspoon into smoothies, fresh juices, or warm water daily.
