3*** GREAT TASTE AWARD

These peppercorns won a 3-Star Great Taste Award in 2022, a distinction earned by only 1.4% of the 14,000 products entered. Black peppercorns are fermented in 5% rock salt for six months, and during this time they turn into black peppercorns with an intense, authentic depth of flavour.

They are ready to use straight from the jar, so they are a quick way to add an instant burst of pepper to your cooking. Use them in stews, curries, soups, salads, pasta and peppercorn sauces, or in marinades and pickling. Organic, Vegan and Vegetarian.

We source our organic products directly from the farming community in small batches to make sure the products are of top quality and also the fresh stock reaches our customers.

Each batch goes though lab testing for pesticides testing and quality control.

We frequently do farm visits and production factory visits in person to make sure the products are sourced and manufactured as per standards and the traceability is established.

Use whole, straight from the jar, or crush with a pestle and mortar. Add to stews, soups, curries, pasta, sauces, salads and marinades, in the same way as green peppercorns in brine.

Frequently asked question

Yes , Certified Organic by the Soil Association, independently audited from farm to pack.

No , no artificial additives, colourings, flavourings or preservatives are added.

Certified organic means the ingredient is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilisers, is never genetically modified, and is independently audited through the whole supply chain , not just self-declared. That's better for soil health, biodiversity and the farmers who grow it, and it means you know exactly what you're (and aren't) consuming.

Intense, tangy and deeply savoury , the six-month fermentation gives these peppercorns far more depth than standard pepper.

Use whole straight from the jar, or crush with a pestle and mortar. Add to stews, curries, soups, pasta sauces and marinades.

Yes , this product won a 3-Star Great Taste Award in 2022. Great Taste is judged blind by food experts on taste, texture and aroma alone, with no packaging or branding in front of the judges, so the award reflects the product itself, not the marketing.

Yes , Vegan Society approved and suitable for vegetarians.

Ausha products are lab tested for pesticides and heavy metals, sourced directly from small-scale organic farming communities, and several have won independent Great Taste or Nourish Awards , judged blind on taste alone. Soil Association certification and Vegan Society approval mean the quality and ethics are independently checked, not just a claim on the pack.
